Hey guys! Lou just answered to some questions

> - Which was the film you liked the most to shoot?
I dont know if I had favorite to shoot. they were all
totally different and had good and bad things about
them. Thumbsucker was definitely the most
life-changing one, though.
> - Are you interested in directing movies?
yes. i always have been. I was actually going to go to
school for editing or directing before I got
Thumbsucker. I made a movie that was a half hour long
in Junior year of High School and won first place in
the film festival they had. It was called "Moving
Backgrounds" and I made it with a few friends of mine.
I have also been working on a documentary for my
friends for the past couple years(I never have any
time to work on it).
> - What are your favorites movies?
My favorite movies are Donnie Darko, Edward
Scissorhands, The Big Lebowski, Falling Down, 12
monkeys, All of Stanley Kubricks work, Timescape, One
flew over the coocoo's nest, being there, The
Neverending story, Legend(the directors cut)...and a
whole lot more
> - Do people recognize you in the street...?
I've actually only been recognized by someone not in
the film bussiness at all once. I get recognized on
the street alot by people who are in the film
bussiness.
> - What is it like to see yourself on tv or on
> magazine?
Its funny. I guess I just dont really realize that
It's not just for me and that alot of people see that
stuff. Like if I was over somebody elses house and I
saw me on tv, that would be wierd, but it hasnt
happened yet. I usually get home and sit down and then
have the time to take a look at all I've done in the
past months.
> - Which was the country you visited that you liked
> the most? i loved being in Corfu,Greece with my
firneds when we went on vacation. but I really like
Paris,France, and Scotland was awesome as well.
> - Where do you plan to be in 10 years? Do you have
> any set goals career-wise?
Nope. I have no idea
> - Can you tell us more about your part in
> Southland Tales?
> I am Martin Kefouver, a white kid from Beverly
Hills who wants to look badass. He wears baggy clothes
and dresses with a doo rag. He comes from a rich
family and sells pot. Then he gets a draft notice in
the mail that freaks hm out completely.

Just a little note on this one. Back in High School, we all did Theater together. Lou acted, of course, but most of us worked in the Stage Crew. Those of us in Crew were very, very close, and we formed a bit of an intricate and exclusive subculture in our small school. Lou really honored us by deciding to make a documentary about us, about our work, and about what we stood for.
