What was the movie disovered Lou in? Mine was Empire'sFall he was great in that movie. He played the silent outcast relly well and hes one of the few actors that can do that.

well i discovered lou when i heard about keanu reeves new movie which was at this time, thumbsucker so i made some research you know and i downloaded empire falls to see how was lou acting and after that i was like "omg!" he was just so awesome in that movie!

Well then i watched Thumbsucker and absolutely loved it. I still haven't got the time to watch Chumscrubber (I'll do it this weeks)..

I've actually been keeping track of the Thumbsucker and Chumbscrubber IMDB pages for awhile before they came out so I saw Lou a while before the movies came out. I wasn't sure if I found him attractive or not but I do think he is quite adorable in both movies - I think he looks pretty hot in his "vato" clothes for his new movie though, LOL, yes you can call me crazy. Smile

I just like his little stache.

Well, the "vato" look she's talkin' about is Lou's role for Southland Tales. A couple weeks before he began shooting Southland Tales, there was a bit of a party at the house of a buddy of ours. I got there, saw some dude in a wife-beater, with a nylon do-rag on his head, and a thin, dark moustache and goatee.

It took me a double-take to realize that it was Lou.

I didn' tknow what "vato" meant.
Lol yeah he looks pretty different with those kind of clothes. We can hardly recognize him. But I think that's absloetly great that he changes his look in all of his movies Very Happy

"Vato" is a Spanish word. In Mexican slang, it's pretty much the same as an American saying, "Dude."

Thumbsucker was the first movie I saw Lou in.
And I'm absolutely in love with it.
I think mainly because of the Elliott Smith songs.

I haven't seen the Green Day video yet, but I dont really like GD. and I dont really like the whole "eyeliner, scenester" look, at least not on Lou.

well..I'm new..sorry I didn't post in the thread about being new. I'm Jenna.
umm..the first Lou movie I saw was Empire Falls, it was such a great movie and a loved his part in it. I also love the Green Day video..but I didn't even know it was him when I saw it. I still haven't seen Thumbersucker or Chumscrubber..but I have heard they're awesome. Well..I'm off to rent them right now..hopefully they'll be just as rad as I hear they are.
